Spot Loan / Lighthouse Recovery

Has anyone dealt with these people, and will this mess EVER GO AWAY??? I am so stressed and tired of dealing with this!
well
lighthouse is a bottomfeeder so treat them as such, but technincally if the loan was under zest cash before they became spoy loans it is legal.that doesn't justify the actions of debt buying bottomfeeders though.to answer your question in time it will go away, but just keep sending C&D letters to anybody trying to collect.
So now I'm confused. I think
So now I'm confused. I think I remember reading many times before that it is now illegal, even though it was Zest Cash, which sold to Spot Loan?? Are you saying I do owe it? My loan was for $800, I overpaid by around $500.
no
i didn't say that.the original loan was legal, but since it was taken over by spot loan as long as there was a balance stiil on the original debt then yes you do owe it,but you don't take BS from bottomfeeders.since you overpaid then you pay nothing to anybody that attempts to collect.
When I say overpaid, I mean I
When I say overpaid, I mean I paid the principal plus almost $500 in interest. Is that what you mean by "pay nothing"? Sorry, I just don't want to get in some legal drama at some point and be wrong about this. I am just trying to wrap my brain around it all and make sure I am doing the right thing! Thanks for you help...
Zest Cash was legal until
Zest Cash was legal until July 2012 when Spot Loan took over, and I stopped paying in October 2012, at which time it was owned by tribal. So I guess it was kind of both. since I had overpaid by $500, it was probably right about the same time I had paid off principal off as when Spot Loan took over. Does that make sense?
