It's so nice getting a full paycheck again that can go to real bills rather than companies like 500fastcash.
There is one thing that I find strange, though. I see other people post here after they close their accounts and send letters and they seem to get calls from the PDL companies trying to collect. Since I sent the letters, I have not received a single call from any PDL company trying to collect. Perhaps they are getting the message as it seems more and more of us are catching on to them?
Anyway, thanks again to all of you that help us all. You've taken a huge burden off my shoulders, and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

It's really good to note that you have been able to free yourself from those scam artists!! Congratulations to you!! :) I think the PDL companies keep on contacting so that they may force the consumers to pay the debt. But you shouldn't fall into that trap!

I truly owe it all to this website. If I had not found it I would still be behind the eight ball and in a bad way trying to pay those guys and everything else. I understand that they continue calling to at least try and collect some more money, I just thought it was interesting that I haven't been harassed at all. There's a better chance the Met's will win the World Series this year then there is of me sending these guys any more money.
On a kind of funny side note (or maybe not so funny), because of the PDL's i fell behind on my rent a bit...my landlord was totally understanding, but before I explained the situation, he saw that I was working all the time, yet had no money. He was wondering if I had a cocaine problem or something. Similarly, a couple members of my family thought I might have an online gambling habit.
I guess I can laughabout it now, but what a bad situation i was in with these guys.
