I have gotten myself into some trouble with pay day loans. I have nver missed a payment or had an nsf but I can never seem to pay these off and keep them off. So i contacted each of the 6 that I have and asked them for their help and got no responses other then pay them.

So I was contacted by Payday Debt Loan Consolidators and they told me that they could help me out. I don't know anything about them. So I am wary of giving someone my bank account information.

I just closed my bank account that these loans are in and moved banks as I read that is the best thing to do. So that is done. Now I am unsure of the next move.

Here are the 6 PDL I have outstanding right now:

EastSide Lenders for $250 plus fees
Discount Advances $640 plu fees
Pack management $300 plus fees
Zip19.com $250 plus fees
SSm Group $400 plus fees
Lakota Cash $400 plus fees

So I am just unsure of what course of action to take next. I have contact them all and told them what is up. Only one, SSM group said they automatically send me out to a collection agency. The others say they send it to their inhouse collections office and will work something out there.

So does anyone have any advice. I have a baby on the way and am really worried about my financial future. I dn't want these people harassing my work either.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

In order to know whether or not these payday lenders are licensed to operate in your state, you should contact the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit. If they are unlicensed, then you won't have to pay them any interest payments or other fees. You will be liable for paying them only the principal amount.

However, if you find that they are legal and are not ready to negotiate with you, then you will have to take help of the professional debt relief companies in order to sort out the matter. This community has a list of professional debt relief companies. You can take a look at it and choose from it: http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com/companies/usa-listing/

pack, and eastside are also illegal meaning none of your loans are legal.so i need the following.

1)how much was borrowed from each lender
2)how much was debited before you closed your account

you see being as these are all illegal in OK you not only owe just the principle, but anything they call"fees"gets deducted from that.example:

you borrow 300.00 from eastside.they debit 90.00 three times.you only owe 30.00 to them nothing more.please provide that info as we can help even further.

First off thank you to veryone who has replied to my thread so far. That debt consolidation company keep scaling me asking me to sign their documents. From what I am reading here it almost seems like I can handle this stuff myself, but it may be a lengthy process.

Out of the loans that I have right now, only 2 have been renewed as I always pay them fully off and then re-open them. So there haven't been many that I just paid the finance fee and renewed it.

The two I have done that to so far this time around are:

Lakota Cash I borrowed $400 and have renewed the loan twice so far at $120 each time.

SSM Group (River Elk Services) I have renewed it twice as well. Borrowed amount was $450 and there is a $135 fee that has been paid twice so far.

The other 4 are recently opened because I pay them off as quickly as I can but because I pay them off I have no other choice but to open a new loan back up. It is a revolving nightmare.

So here are the 6 loans I have out. These are just with the amounts I borowed, not including the fees they want with them.

EastSide Lenders for $250 plus fees
Discount Advances $640 plu fees
Pack management $300 plus fees
Zip19.com $250 plus fees
SSm Group $450 plus fees
Lakota Cash $400 plus fees

I caontacted Lakota Cash and she said i ave to pay the full amount back. I have read somewhere on here that I should send through e-mail or by fax letters to each one of the lenderss, but I am unsure as to what the letters should state and exactly what the letters do.

Thank you all for the help in advance. The stress levels are slowly starting to come down some.

Ok an update on what is going on so far.

I have NOT been able to close my account with BOA just yet because there are always "processing" fees going on. They cannot close it till all activety has stopped. They are saying they cannot help me at all because of the fact that I gave these companies authorization to my account.

I was able to borrow 2000 from my parents upon admission of this stupidity I have caused myself and in turn have paid off the following 3 companies:

Discount Advances $640. The loan was for $640 and working with CPD they settled for just the loan amount. That is now closed.

Pack Management had taken out the $90 fee already so I just paid the $300 which was the loan itself. That is now closed.

I paid eastside lenders $250 which was the amount of the original loan and had the $75.00 fee they tried to take out revoked. Brandy at ESL is tying to get them to waive the remainder $75 fee and close the account. I will know more tomorrow.

Zip19.com the loan was for $275. They took out 329 yesterday and since I am so worn out dealing with all of this I am just letting them have the extra and chlking it up to stupidity on my part. So they are now closed.

Now here is where I am at with the other 2. Since I haven't been able to close my account just yet I haven't been able to send them any letters yet. Bank of America said I should be able to close the account tomorrow as the processes that are left on there should go through tonight. I have already opened a new bank account.

The final 2 loans are:

SSM Group (River Elk Services) The original loan was for $450. They have taken $135 out twice already. So i authorized them to take out $285 this last paycheck. In turn that actually gives them about $550 on the original loan back to them. So if from what i am reading from all of you folks that should mean that legally this account is closed as far as I am concerned.

Lakota Cash...the original loan was for $400. They have taken 2 payments of 120 out. I paid with a prepaid visa card $160 the other day for a total of $400. Now according to you folks that means this account is closed now.

So now do i send letters to everyone or just the accounts that are still opened? MY Bank of america account should be closed tomorrow for good. So i weill send the letters after but what letter should I send? I am confused as to what to do now.

Thanks.
