Hi!! I recently have gotten myself back into payday loan trouble. I tried not to get in it again but it happened. I live in Indiana and have loans out with Zip19 $225/ $0 paid, 500fastcash $250/$300 paid interest only of course, GECC $400/$396 paid in interest I believe, SureAdvance $600/159.00 paid in interest, and Ameriloan $400/$0 paid. I am pretty sure none of these are legal. I have been reading these forums for the past week and have finally decided to join and share my story(problem). I have looked up online to see if these are licensed in Indiana and have not found any licenses for them. I thought I was doing the right thing by hiring CCC to help me out. They told me to close my account and give all the info I had on them and my accounts with them. I wish I had found this website earlier because after two weeks and CCC taking the first payment from my account, I have not heard anything from them. I had signed up with them before I was to default on my loans. I realize that I can take care of this myself, and plan on cancelling their sevices with them tomorrow. The one thing that puzzled me the most from CCC was that I was not even asked how much I had already paid, and they didn't even inform me that if these are illegal pdl's in Indiana I only have to pay the principal.:( Anyway, my main concern is that I left all the work up to CCC and now that I have decided to take care of this myself I am not sure what to do. It has been almost a month since I have defaulted on the loans. Of course I have received the phone calls daily. Almost 20 in one day from Asset Management( gecc and sureadvance's collectors)and of course the calls at work too bad I work third shift and i am not there to answer them. But since so much time has elapsed, I'm not sure what to do first.

Both of my previous posters are right. As the lenders are illegal, so they won???t be able to take any legal action against you. If you have paid them more than the principal amount, then ask them for the refund. If you have any complaints against them, then you can contact with the Indiana Department of Financial Institutions. Their contact detail is as follows:
# Address - 30 South Meridian Street, Suite 300 Indianapolis IN 46204
# Phone - (800) 382-4880
