VIP Scammers

I know I'm an idiot--but VIP has now debited my checking account $1600 on a $500 loan. I saw there were taking "chunks" and figured they would stop when they got their money plus interest. When I called the very foreign "cutomer service" number he said that I haven't paid any money toward the "principal" on the loan. He further informed me that It will cost me $400 more dollars (in two installments) to "get this taken care of". I felt so violated. Now you want 400 more dollars?! Thank you all for your posts--I'm going to close my checking account ASAP and I don't think they want to show up in court to explain to a judge how I owe them money.
