They went into my account and took $575 dollars in four transactions! I am so fu***king angry right now. I did a stop payment and they used some other name to go in and take it.
They've taken an additional $750 dollars from me. Is there anything I can do?

And for clarification they came into my account under the name of USA Cash Express.

I had a block placed under the name they'd always gone in and taken money under. Didn't think they'd go in under anything else. They also did it early on and my paycheck hit my account earlier than usual. I figured in doing the block, that would give me until today to go in and close account.

It's a bad situation because my rent was due so now I will probably end up getting evicted.

see a manager, and only a manager.file a fraud dispute and point out that this is the same place you put the block on.then get that money back and have the manager close that account pronto.they can also set up a new one not linked to the old one.do that asap.today in fact.

Do as Paul suggests. Your bank will reverse those debits and any fees incurred because of them, but it will take a few business days.

And, as SoapLady said, this is exactly why we tell you the only truly effective way to protect yourself is to CLOSE THE ACCOUNT! Period.
Blocking names, amounts, etc. does not work. These fraudsters operate under multiple names and they will debit your account over and over until they are able to get at your money. And, if that doesn't work, they have been known to issue PAPER CHECKS to get paid.

They cannot be trusted under any circumstances. You CLOSE THE ACCOUNT or have it changed to a deposit only account.
Nothing else works.

Sorry to hear they were able to get more money from you. Hope you'll be able to get that account closed, and soon! If the extra withdrawals resulted in a negative balance and your bank won't let you close it til the negative balance is taken care of, at the VERY least put the account on deposit only status. As soon as the account is in a 'positive balance' state, get it closed as soon as possible. Please keep us posted.

I went to the bank and they will do fraud charges but couldn't because transactions are still "pending". Once they complete, we can finish it out. She will be reversing stop payment fees as well.

We opened another account to which I will re-direct my paycheck. I have to call her first thing tomorrow so that she can do file fraud complaint on transactions.

She even offered to call apartment manager but not sure that it will help.

Thank you so much for your help and will let you know what happens tomorrow.

*UPDATE*

Went to bank the other day and was there for almost three hours. The guy went over my account with a fine tooth comb (not sure why) and then proceeded to call the "back office". They told him because I took out a loan with these people, and that they don't dispute these types of companies. Showed them contract, emails, etc.

I had filed complaints against them when I initially saw what they'd done with the BBB, AG Office (here and in Utah), and FTC. I noticed that there was a change in what they took. They reduced to $30, 90 & 155 but I also found that they had taken an additional 155 on a couple of other transactions.

Next question, has anyone here ever heard of one of these companies being taken to small claims court?
