I sent an email to 247 Greenstreet on January 4 notifying that I was aware that they aren't authorized in my state and requested a refund of fees paid. I got an email back today saying that they are licensed in the EU , blah, blah blah and although they can't refund any past fees, they will waive the fees from my last loan, which I still owe, and allow me to pay it in two equal amounts (which is do-able) and have the payment to them by March 16 (also do-able). I just thought I'd share because this (for me) is positive reinforcement that the payday loan treadmill I haver ben on for 2 years is coming to an end. Also thought this might be helpful to anyone else dealing with them.

I am curious/hopeful the will have the same attitude for me as I have paid over $2800 in fees even after taking out my last loans of $2,500!

I will still fight this with my state's AG & OFR for the refund - but am aware this is Malta I am dealing with, so I was told not to be too hopeful.

Yesterday, I could log in and got the message " in collections, please call XXXX to work out a payment plan"

and today I try to log on and got
"I'm sorry, but unfortunately we can't lend to you today."

What???

I sent me email Sunday night and have not heard back from them? After you take out the amount I paid from the amount I borrowed, they actually would owe me $2k back? Not that I expect anything.
