hard debit block

I have a question regard to putting the hard debit block on my account, will this affect my getting direct deposit in this account will money still be able to go into the account? also what would i have to tell the bank to have the block put on

Well this depends on what type of block your bank does. I would suggest you ask if your account can be placed on "deposit only" status. That way you can receive credits but no debits.
If the bank freezes your account then you will not be able to receive any transactions of any kind on your account. Just make sure to clarify when asking. Please try to speak with a Branch Manager and be very specific in what you need done. Let them know you may have possible fraudulent activities on your account and you want to protect your funds.
