This department has received recent communication regarding the above account. The communication received is recognized as portions of a form letter (cut and Paste template) being widely circulated via the Internet. Unfortunately this form letter is filled with misleading and incorrect information. The use of this form letter leads us to believe that there is not a specific complaint connected with the handling of your account. Please be reminded that the terms and conditions of the agreement you entered into with our company was presented to you at the time of your application and you were given a 48 hour window in which to cancel the agreement. How should I respond to this?
Thanks so much again!

Did you send them a letter (I'm assuming you did from their response) stating your state laws, revoking everything, etc? Do not be alarmed at this response. I got this response from almost all my pdls. It's THEIR "form letter" that THEY send out. It's almost funny how they accuse others of using "form letters" and they do exactly that themselves! If you have sent them a letter, respond back to them. Tell them that no, you did not use a "cut and paste letter" and re-send the original letter again. Send the letter again and again until they get it through their skulls that you're serious here and not taking any crap. I can't stress enough to not get freaked out by their response. This is a very familiar letter to all of us who have had pdls. Also, have you filed complaints with the BBB, the FTC, and your state AG?

I'am having the same issue with G.R I keep getting calls from an Alicia...they responded to my BBB complaint stating that they have been trying to call me and have left me messages to resolve my account.
My response to the bbb was my letter to G.R stated contact by email or a letter through USPS that I wanted a record of all correspondence with them.
To the OP I would ask them what laws are they abiding by in regards to their payday loans.

OMG, will these PDLer's EVER get a life and a real job? If they put all the energy that they are wasting on this nonsense to good use, they could find a respectable job and then some. Why do they insist that they are the victims? Other than that, I am hoping that all my good friends on here are having a great day!

I love cannr's advice, but with the re-send of the 'form letter' I'd add....the information is widely circulating around the internet because good people are helping other good people not get ripped off by illegal lenders such as yourself.
Touche Liz! I am totally amazed that they just don't get it.
Touche Liz! I am totally amazed that they just don't get it. Or, perhaps they do. They seem to be bringing up that point quite often lately so how could they not?

Well, they love to claim "cut and paste letters from the internet". Love it! That's how they claim that we are "confused" and getting "misinformation". It drives me insane! I insisted that I did NOT use any "form" or "cut and paste" letter - that I just used my state law and did research on these internet lenders. And that's the truth. Sure I sent them letters; however, are we not forming our own letters with our own state laws and researching these illegal idiots ourselves?? Yes, we are. With the help of others; however, we are doing all the leg work. It's not like we decided to jump on the internet and find "a letter" and send it off to pdls. Good Lord! We all know how much time and effort goes into finding the state laws, who is licensed, what we legally owe, filing complaints, etc. So, for them to even claim (at least it comes across like this to me) that we just look for an "easy way out" and send a "cut and paste letter" just burns my a$$!
