Bottom Dollar--$600 loan have paid $1,845
American Web Loan--$900 loan have paid $256
I closed my bank account yesterday after reading your forum and just by doing that felt a weight lifted of my shoulders.
I understand I still owe the rest of the principal to United, American Web Loan and PDL. I have emailed them requesting to set up a payment via pre paid credit card. I have emailed the others requesting refunds and letters stating my account is paid in full.
I could not find an email address for PDL now so I entered the letter through a service ticket on their site.
What else do I need to do. Thanks again for all your help!:D

Follow Up
Just wanted to post a follow up. After closing my bank account on Friday, sending my emails Saturday I received 2 Paid in Full emails today.
Cash Cure and Cutter are going to be marked PIF.
American Web Loan and I were negotiating via email. Then when I asked for a legitamate adress to mail my money order to the communications stopped.
Waiting to see what the others do. I am slightly optimisitc that this nightmare may soon be over.
Cutter sent me this letter (Cash Cure sent a similar one). I will still demand again a refund from both.

Dear Ms. S,
We respect a consumer who researches the services to which he/she uses. With that being said when you applied for and agreed to the terms of the loan, it would have behooved you to read the complete contract you agreed to with Cutter Group. You are a citizen of North Carolina , however the contract was not made in North Carolina . The contract was completed via the world wide web, the governing law (clearly outlined in your contract) which you agreed to by your legal e-signature are the laws of the jurisdiction in which the lender is located. When you accepted the funds in the amount of $250.00 on 10/6/2012, you did not contact our company and question the legality of the loan. You accepted the loan.
You will no longer see and transactions from Cutter Group and your account will be considered paid in full. Unfortunately, we are denying your application for further lending.

I would respond to them, "It would behoove you not to lend in states that you know payday loans are prohibited. You know the laws and abuse them to your convience. I am no longer the least sophisticated consumer and will continue to pursue the refund I am due on this account with the FTC and the North Carolina State Attorney General office."
