Advice please

I use a pdl company... but closed one account out. I emailed them to give them the new acct number and faxed a copy of the loan document
with the new acct number- same bank to with the entire amount due
The forwarded the amount to this collection agency.. I paid them in full
for the amount which was due and interest and now they want 300$ more. The name of the company is Hushhawk.. does anyone know them
and how do I handle. I called them today to tell them I gave them the
new account number and I just got beriated which they are very good at
doing and hung up on.. what should I do.?

You closed your old bank account and then gave the new account's
You closed your old bank account and then gave the new account's information to the payday lender, why?
Which state are you from? Is this lender legal in your state?
