i just got this notice from iadvance, however, i still legally owe them $300 on the loan, i just haven't been able to get the payment to them yet. i was going to send it at the end of next week. they did not respond to my cease letter. this lender is illegal in MS as far as i understand. what should i do? i'm worried sick.

Hmmmm, did they recently attempt to debit your account? What may have happened is; if you closed out your account they may not realize yet the last payment wasn't deducted, they probably won't be notified until Mon. Just guessing. Otherwise, not sure why they would show you as paid in full unless the C&D letter scared them. lol In that case, keep the letter and consider it PIF! I don't think iadvance is licensed in your state. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

i closed the account about 3 weeks ago. they sent me a 'pay or face action' letter a week after the first payment was missed. i cent the cease letter back to them. they may have been trying to call me from a blocked number, which i never answer. no voicemails left. i imagine this is something automated, however this concerned me.
