In desperate need of help in Pennsylvania
Date: Tue, 01/12/2010 - 17:16
Hello all, and thank you for this valuable resource. I have four current pdl's, although one is probably an installment loan. I'm trying to make sense of Pennsylvania pdl laws. The storefronts are illegal, and it seems that internet loans are illegal as well? Anyway, I want to block ach withdrawals or close my checking acct. or some such thing, but don't want to make a bad situation worse. If the internet loans are illegal in PA, am I legally obligated to pay even the principal? I think I have in most cases, but need to know nonetheless. Here are the loans:
Kingston Financial-apparently they're located in London, given them way more than the $200
principal
Integrity Advance: iadvancecash.com
Ameriloan
First Bank of Delaware-I'm guessing that this one's a legal installment loan, and am perfectly willing to pay it off
So, how to proceed... Do I give them a penny more? Do I close my checking acct. if ach's won't reopen it? Do they owe me anything? Thanks so much for the site and any help anyone can offer.
