Can you tell me if these online payday loan companies are leagl. I have paid back OVER my amount baoorowed, closed my account and now im getting harrassing calls stating they are going to send me to jail. (I live in Florida)

In Florida, online pdls are said to operate as CSOs, which means that these lenders are perfectly legal in the state even when they are not licensed. However, if these lenders are operating as CSOs, they must register with the Secretary of State's office. You may check out with the office of Secretary of State to confirm their legal lending status.
