I've sent my letters telling they pay day loan companies they are illegal etc, etc. (I've gotten one paid in full letter!) IdealGelt replied to my 3rd email today with the following;
"Hello Kimberly,
Idealgelt does not follow Maryland state laws because we are a international company.* I can set you up on a payment plan if you would like."

I know this is crap, but how should I reply? Would a short and sweet "Maryland law is the only law that I follow, as it's the only law that appies to me." followed by another copy of my letter be enough?

Thanks to everyone who responds, and to everyone who has helped me so far. I've already gotten so much relief and started SAVING money for the first time in years!

I too have one with IdealGelt that I just sent a letter to this evening. Have they stopped trying to withdrawl money from your account or did you just close it out? I'm hoping to get myself out of this vicious cycle and vow to never return to the world of paydayloan he** again. Thanks!

I got this response today, if you could help me with a reply I would appreciate it.
