Hi eddie-I also had a calm before the storm episode after I closed my account. Once they caught on though, the calls started rolling in. Took them about 4-5 days.

They will contact you eventually.
Remember this - These companies are not predictable. What they do with one person may be completly different then what they do with another. Sometimes they will bug the hell out of one person, and ignore another. There is no rhyme or reason to it.

MTE is ignoring me (for the moment) as well. NO correspondence whatsoever, and no calls. I am waiting to see something appear on my credit report, then all hell will really break loose.

eddie, sometimes it takes awhile for it to "click" in the pdl's head that they're not getting their money. Once it finally "clicks", they'll attempt to contact you. Enjoy the silence for now. However, do not let your guard down. And don't be surprised. Always be cautious. You know you can't trust these nice illegal companies. Oh, MTE will more than likely slide out from under their rock. Luckily they deal mainly with email. They don't do the "phone thing" a whole lot. Which is good. You'll have documentation of your dealings with them. Loanpoint - I don't know.
