When dealing with this company, I think that they are an offshore one (based in Canada?) and illegal in my state of NJ? Any input? Thanks.

So what can you do if you have a loan with mycashnow and cannot pay the loan back...I have been paying the interest and have paid almost the amount of what they gave me but am no where close to paying it off....i don't know what to do

You are only morally

You are only morally responsible for paying back the original principle balance, no more, no less. You state that you have almost paid back the amount borrowed so this is all that you have to pay. On this site, click on forums, then click on payday loan help, then click on sticky on how to deal with illegal payday lenders. Follow every step...do not skip.

Moreover payday lending is prohibited in NJ also. That means all lenders are illegal in NJ.

And since they couldn't withdrawal from a closed account any more, I started to receive sporatic calls from credit protection depot but never responded to them. Then that oddball call from an 'attorneys' office and the nonsense from them...that was only one time. Can't wait to see whats next!!
