I received a phone call this morning from one of my PDLs, it woke me up. Integrity Advance called and the man was rude. I lost connection with him, so I decided to call back (mistake #1) and I was told I had a manager, but really I had the same man. Anyway, I told him that I was not able to pay the amount he wanted because I had other loans (mistake #2). He said that basically that was not his problem and that he would contact the AG of my state (this was after I told that I filed cpmplaints with the AG, FTC, and FLOFR) and get a list of all my payday and that I am using illegal laws to not pay my loans and that I had more than i was suppose to have. He continued to talk over me so i said Good bye and hung up.

I did not know that I was only allowed to have one payday loan, according to Florida, at a time. I did not do my research. Now that I know, I have done everything i have been told to do, closed my account, send "illegal" letters to all PDLS, and filed complaints with AG, FTC, and FLOFR on most (still working on this).

My question is, can I get into trouble for having more than one payday loan or is this a scare tactic that they are doing?

Any help is appreciated.

yes that is stupidity thrown out by a complete piece of sh*t.the pdl laws are not a way to get out of paying and they know it.also they avoid,or try to avoid AG'S and other gov't entities like the plague.so please do not return furture calls from idiots as you have learned.it's not worth it and all they do is threaten and lie.
