Unfortunately TN is one of those states that allow an Internet based payday loan companies to lend legally as long as they are licensed in any US State, which would mean you must follow the laws of the state they are licensed out of, not TN. :?

Actually, I would tell them you no longer have a bank account, but you will pay them via USPS with money orders. But you have to do what is right for you. :)

I closed my bank account.. opened a new one but under no circumstance do I plan on giving any of them my new information, not even the legal companies that are taking payments from me. Instead I got a netspend account and only put a few dollars more than the payment on it before I pay that way they can't take out more than that. With a netspend card, theres no ovedrafts.. It's pretty much like a prepaid visa or something. But I don't know if all PDL companies will accept credit cards for payment. But some of the ones I'm working with said they prefer it over a money order.

(c) Consumer's right to stop payment--(1) Notice. A consumer may stop payment of a preauthorized electronic fund transfer from the consumer's account by notifying the financial institution orally or in writing at least three business days before the scheduled date of the transfer.
Print that out and take it to the bank.
Also send a ACH revocation letter to the legal PDLs.
