Hi all, just began the process of dealing with three illegal tribal lenders. Closed my checking account and fired off my emails to Ameriloan, Plain Green and Mobiloans. I've already overpaid on all three.
Mobiloans already marked me as PIF without a fight. Plain Green appears to have done the same. Ameriloans is trying to get me to "settle" with them, the incessant phone calls started today. But they'll get nothing and I'll keep pressing them for a refund. They actually mentioned this forum in their reply, accusing it of providing "misinformation" LOL.
Honestly it's actually been far easier than I thought it'd be, wish I had done this sooner. If you're reading this and you have doubts about moving forward and putting a stop to the gouging, do not hesitate (provided your loans were illegal, that is) to do it.
