Indian Tribe payday loansm

I have been recently been making inquires to some payday lenders that have been debiting bi weekly payments from my account. Some have been cooperating with the email, but I did get a response from one I would like some advice on. The payday lender is Splash Cash Advance aka First American Capital Resources ONE LLC. The amount I borrowed was $400.00 as of today I have paid back a total of $420.00. I sent them an email stating that I have stopped all ACH debits from my account and since they are not licensed in the state of Michigan I would like a refund of my $20.00 and I will only be paying back the $400.00. I received a voicemail from Splash Cash Advance stating that because they are within the boundaries of a Indian Tribe they do not have to follow my states laws, and they will be sending my account to a third party collection agency. Should I just ignore this threat unless I receive a paper bill???
You wont get the $20 back..
You wont get the $20 back...chalk it up to a learning experience.
Dear Tribal Lender...
Cut the crap. You know as well as I do that sovereign law only applies on your reservation which I am not a member. The only laws that apply to me are the laws of my state of Michigan.
Thus, legally I owe you NOTHING. Do yourself a favor and quit wasting your time. The law is on MY side.
Govern yourself accordingly...
