I live in the State of Georgia;

Borrowed $1,500 from Great Plains Lending in 2012;

Paid back about $9-$1,200.

Now I'm getting calls from a company called Credit Solutions. Saying they are about to file a Complaint and have the Sheriff serve me and I have to pay $2250 plus court fees and if I don't, I could be arrested. WHAT CAN I DO???

All payday loans are illegal in GA...follow the link in my signature line. Nobody is coming to serve or arrest you. You owe principal only, no interest and no fees. Stay off the phone!!!!

Unfortunately CashCall is legal in California and is quick to sue. I took out $2500 and was not able to make the payments so they charged me interest fees and it came to $4500 but thankfully the judgement was for $2500 and court fees of $160. After the judgement I called them and asked if they could do payments for $500 a month instead of wage garnishment (they were heading that route) and they agreed. I started that in October of 2012 and I just finished my last payment with them this month. I was told by a debt settlement company that they are quick to sue so I guess my advice would be to try and set up some kind of payment plan with them before they go that route because you will have to pay them in the end anyways and having someone sue you is more stress then needed.

I currently have 4 PDLs: Pepper Cash, Cash in a wink, Boulevard Cash, and Castle Payday. I have overpaid all of them because of interest every month but the principal balance on all of them is still $200- i had just been rolling them over.. I have read everything on the site and am prepared to take action with my bank, the ACH/wage revocation letters, and other appropriate steps but I am nervous if I can still get the same results as other people because of what they have on file for my address. I live in Georgia, the information they have for my employer is a GA address, I put down that I have a GA drivers license, my bank info comes up as being in GA, but for the actual address, I put a fictional Florida address so that I could even receive the loans in the first place. Now that I want to take action and say that PDLs are illegal in my state, I'm afraid they are going to come back and say well you say you live in FLorida so your debt is valid. I don't know if there are any loopholes to the specific vendors I loaned with or if I can just say I accidentally put Florida (F and G are right next to each other on keyboard and all my other info is GA so they should have put two and two together, or if i need to even address it at all) Help on what to do here would be greatly appreciated SOAPLADY or anyone that knows what theyre talking about thanks
