I have 4 online installment loans that I believe (after a lot of research) are illegal in Ohio. What I would like to know is what steps do I start with in contacting these companies and getting rid of these loans legally w/out paying $10000

If the lenders are not legal in your state, then you need to pay the principal amount only. So, you have to pay the principal amount that you owe; otherwise, you will be in trouble.

What steps should I take to inform these lenders if my findings (legality) the companies are mobiloans, lendgreen, big picture loans, uncle warbucks and targetcashnow . I believe they are all illegal in Ohio correct?

I only know about Uncle Warbucks. They are illegal in all states. They are based in Quebec Canada. If you find that any other lenders are illegal, you should follow the "illegal lenders" sticky in this forum. It will give you all the steps you need to contact the illegal lenders.

I agree with Patricia, contact your state's attorney general's office and file a complaint against them if they don't stop bothering you. That's how they meant to be treated.
