After being on this site and getting information I needed to take on these thiefs I have been making not threatening inquiries regarding my accounts with the following internet payday lenders:

Instant Loans Now: I called questioning why they continued to take out only interest when their website states they will take out additional money after 5 payments of principal only. The guy "looked" at my account stating I actually did pay my account of in April. Well I had made 3 payments since then. He called his supervisor and the account is now paid. I am now requesting a refund and may or may not get it.

I also was making calls to Fast Money 911 and forced them to give me each pay date and the amounts for a current loan and a past loan. I also c/o that most places let you view your payments made and that I felf I was paying blindly. On 6/13/10, I received an e-mail from the "President" thanking me for paying my loan off.

When I go to the websites they both show inactive. I still plan to ask for refunds as they have totally ripped me off! (And report their practices).

Thanks to everyone for all of the wonderful advice I have received by searching this website.

That is so great!!! So happy for you! I have a question I was going to call one of mine that also say that after the 5th payment they will start paying down, well I am 8 months of ony paying interest and was wondering exactly what you said because I am going to give it a try. Quote:

I just played very inoccent and was very nice and non accusatory. I told the individual that it was my understanding that on the options for repayment that I get in my e-mail it states that after 5 payments of interest only they will take out an additional $25.00 payment. The rep confirmed that, then I told him that my payments have never changed and that I thought that I might have overpaid. I requested that he tell me when the loan was taken out. When he looked at the account he came back on and told me that it was actually paid in April. Of course he had to contact supervisors but they were very prompt in emailing me that the account is PIF. However it states paid in full as of the date I called, not April which the Gentleman had confirmed with me. So I am requesting an email for the PIF as of April. This was another website that you cannot see your loan history.

As for Fast Money, That one took me off guard. I had called them previously and asked the same question as far as taking out additional for principal after 5 interest only payments. I could have swore it was the same with them, but they said that is just a new policy. I called on 6/12/10 and had the rep. go payday by payday on each loan with payments, c/o that it's ridiculous you can't see your loan history, told her it was a waste of my time and hers. Once again I was non threatening, playing innocent. Opened my e-mail and had a letter from the "President" on 6/10/10, saying thank you for paying your loan in full! Totally unexpected. On this one I have actually paid about $2000.00 over in interest only. Good luck with yours!

Well I just called and I am waiting for a phone call back. I was very nice and non threatening as well and told them I was concerned because my contract stated after 5 renewals it would automatically kick in to pay down. He had to contact another dept and said he would call me back. My loan was 400 and so far have paid 1800 in interest only. This website you can not see your history either so I am hoping that they do call me back. I took the gentlemans name and extension in case I dont here back by 230. Thanks for your advice. I will let you know.

I made the 1st call on 6/9/10 I got the e-mail on 6/13/10. I think it took that long because someone else maybe had to make the decision. But my account did say inactive sooner than that. I did ask what inactive meant because I too was skeptical and was told it meant I did not have an active account. The balance says 00.00.

I hope you get one, just keep pushing them! Make sure you file those complaints, and remember to mention in your emails you are taking steps to get the word out that these companies are vicious criminals.

Well I got the PIF notice today and checked my account and they zero'd it out!!! I cant believe it thanks to so many on this site. Now the question is should I just leave the PIF alone and not request a refund or should I request the refund? The loan was 400 and I paid back over 1800. What are the chances of actually getting a refund from Upfront pay day??????? How would I go about requesting one????

Way to go, I'm glad that worked out for you too. Good luck with your refund, I still have not heard back on mine.

Then you are due a refund of $1000.00, make the letter clear and concise, let them know you are going to slather their name all over the Internet if they don't refund you what you are legally due. I can give you some ideas, just make sure you follow through on any promises you make. PM me, and I will help you construct a letter, or give you some resources to pull from. It won't be this evening though, I will need time to put some thought into it. :)
