Interesting...I happen to have 4 payday loans right now and guess what?! Integrity Advance is one of them!!!! I live in California, is there a way to get out of this? Any advice is certainly welcome. Two of the loans I didn't even sign for. I was told I received them because of information I filled out on one of those sites that sets the person up with a lender. Seems rather fishy to me! Has anyone heard of US fast cash or Star Cash processing?? Those are the two I didn't know about until I viewed my bank statement online and saw the money from those two lenders. I was peeved!! I wish I had never even considered a payday loan...but I was feeling like there was no other way. Well that's why I joined this site to take care of those loans and my credit card debt...I'm so sick of living this way!! Any thoughts, musings or opinions are definitely appreciated...thanks :)

US Fast Cash and Star Cash are part of CLK Management, the company that beat the California Department of Corporations when CA tried to enforce state laws against them. (An appeal court ruled against the state last year.) CLK claims that the "real" lenders are Indian tribes and someone will certainly come along to tell you how "flimsy" that claim is, but so far neither California or Colorado has been able to overcome the claim.

At the same time, the fact that your state can't do anything to them doesn't mean they can do anything to you either. (The appeals court didn't rule that their loans were enforceable in CA. It just ruled that CA couldn't stop them from making the loans in the first place.) My advice - just close your account and avoid their phone calls till they give up trying to collect from you.
