My CFO wants to know if there is a phone that she can call to find out more about this.
I am in NJ. this letter did not come from the courts, it came from their legal dept.
I did send out a ACH Revoke letter and the wage assignment letter.
What do I do if my company decides to garnish my wages is there anyway I can stop them?
and i don't owe that much i only owe about $150.00
can someone please help! I know there is going to be more of them coming.

give the wage assignment letter to your CFO.once thet see that and they allow the assignment.they open themselves up to be sued by you.wage assignments are voluntary and revocable.i wouldn't give a phone# i would give her all the pdl info you got.let her know that this is an illegal loan that you only owe 150.00 on not 525.00.let them know you revoked there right to execute a wage assignment.if they still allow it you can and should sue your own employer.

and she just showed me something from Dept of Labor & Workforce Development NJ State Labor laws & regulations # 34:11-4.14 which reads that it is unlawful for them to garnish my wages unless it is court order (plus a bunch of other good stuff), she is now looking for other laws that may help me.

They tried to pull that on me too. I had our HR person send over my letters of ACH and wage assignment revocation over to her supervisor. My last communication with them before I got laid off was that it was going to be shredded :-).

good advice was given here. Payday loans are prohibited in NJ but you can revoke any wage assignment anytime. it is different from a wage garnishment, which comes from a court order.
