I have also been a victim of PDL and closed accounts. I actually had a call several to be exact, telling me I had to wire money by the end of the day to take care of this debt. They added 3x the amount of the loan to what I owed and was not willing to take payments. They threatned to have a police officer arrest me for internet fraud and a slew of other charges....He told me I couldnt run from them and they would make sure I was fired from my job and no telling what else was going to happen if I ddnt wire them this money...
This has been the worse day ever..

They can't fire you. There is no debtors prison and you haven't

They can't fire you. There is no debtors prison and you haven't done anything illegal. Don't send them anything. Internet PDL's don't take much action to collect and just blow off a lot of hot air. Hang up on them.

Most of the time they are illegal and they won't be bringing attention to themselves by suing you and you defintely won't be going to jail.

I just hate these horrible scare tactics. They are just idle threats, and there are steps you can take to try to stop the calls. They dont usually listen, but again you can try to stop the, Please post the ifo that Volley has requested.
Dont worry, no one is going to arrest you, or have you fired , or any thing else. It is just hot air
