yes i got one internet loan out and the card that was suppose to be debited was stolen i tried calling and emailing the company to set up other arrangements to no avail. now i got people calling my work and family members telling them that im in trouble for theft. that i stole there money with no intentions of paying them back. and when i call them i get attitude and threats about how they will make me loss my job and have me thrown in jail. or they just hang up on me. they never call me directly. i dont know what to do with this and can they really have me arrested. and can they threaten me and tell my work and family that kind of stuff. i am an indiana resident and the compainy is speedy internet loans

First of all, non-repayment of loan is not a criminal offense. So, you won't be arrested and put into the jail. They are trying to scare you to get the money. Check whether or not they are legal in Indiana. If they are, then you are only required to pay back the original amount to them.

You are not in trouble ....they are! They are threatening to do things they cannot do. Debts are civil, not criminal. Gather your info and contact the FTC and your state AG's office.
