Iowa internet payday loans

Hi - I have a question in regards to internet payday loans.
I have several payday loans that I acquired from internet payday loan companies, some that didn't even email me a copy of the contract some that did. Each week they extract the amount of the processing fee and rollover the loan.
Are internet payday loans illegal in the state of Iowa?
I'm trying to pay off these loans but it's hard when I can't seem to find daylight at the end of the tunnel and now I have a company harrassing me at work & home for way more than the loan was that I got!
