After months of emails back and forth about I owe them (according to them) and mine saying that I have overpaid them and that I was not going to pay them a cent more, I received the following email:

You did not pay off the loan however; you did make one $90 service fee installment before you told your bank to put a STOP PAY on our company. We do not have to be licensed in your state and this is why you were approved to take the $300 loan. NOTE that your account has been written off our books and therefore; do not owe the principal balance of the $300.

Just to clarify, I did pay the principal, but i think this is gong to be the last I am going to hear fro them.

I agree keep all emails for evidence and if a collection agency calls you or tries to come after you ask them to validate the debt. If they refuse file your complaints for all the false bull the collection agencies will try to run on you. Make sure you save everything because that could be a ploy it sounds good but don't be alarmed or suprised if they don't try something slick.
