JHS Marketing – One good way of dealing with them

member profile picture

If you have a payday loan with this company - used to be TJF or Bahamas Mktg. group and they have taken continual extensions on your loan OVER what you initially owed as re-payment, call them at 866-584-3418! They will as a "courtesy" consider your loan "paid in full." Basically, they can't take extensions out over a substantial time period if the loan amt. is paid off through the amt. of extensions they've pulled from your bank account.

Good luck!

I borrowed $300 and have $810 back. So I just need to call them and explain that? Did they happed to mention anything about refunds? lol

Please if you have paid them $810 then you seriously need to secure your bank account. That is the only way to ensure they will stop taking money :?

refunds are rare with these offshore lenders. However, it does not hurt to try for it.

you can find out if you call the number i listed above. You can check the number from jhs marketing website. also you can find out if lenders are legally lending in your state by going to your state's website and searching on lending companies that are licensed in your state.

Get your payments stopped if you've paid $810. they legally are not allowed to continue to collect, but they will unless you call and tell them to take the whole amt. out on the next paydate...that is their loophole, they'll collect the $60 extension for as long as you do nothing. when I called, she said "you needed to call and request a payoff. well, i had called and told them in Dec. that I wanted them to stop debiting my acct. as they had more than what i owed them at that point." she tried to make me feel like it was my fault but what they are doing is using a loophole in the laws to continue to make tons of money!

call now. i didnt' have to close my acct. i documented my conversation with the woman and had spoken with someone in my state re: the laws and told her that if they didn't stop I would pursue legal action in the form of a class action suit. that is when she told me she'd stop taking money as a "courtesy" to me. ha.

For everyones' sakes I hope that your accounts ARE marked "paid in full." However, if we're talking about offshore PDL's, I'd still view anything they say with a healthy amount of skepticism and caution.
