I am in Missouri
the loans are My Cash Now which is not licensed in MO and is in Anguilla so not sure how that works. I borrowed $900 and have paid them $848 so far and still owe $830
CashNet USA $450 borrowed and owe $506 I have paid them about $265 I think they are licensed
Ace Cash Express borrowed $475 nothing paid yet they are licensed
These 3 are online and I have one From Check into cash a store that I borrow $500 and pay it off each pay check and then take it back out so that is a vicious circle I am going to see if they are part of CFSA and can do an EPP.
Any other suggestions I have had others and gotten those paid down but am struggling now as I feel the fees from these are taking too much out of my paycheck and I cant get other things paid.
Thanks this is a great forum I have gotten great info on here.
I also had a loan with Advance Me Today and paid them twice what I borrowed but finally got it paid off but I had sent them the letter that they were not legal in MO and they said there were a St Vincent co and regulated by the US not by state..was that a bunch of BS or is that true? I called them to to settle and they still want $600 they just ignore me when I tell them I only owe the amount borrowed. What should I do?
You are required to pay back the principal amount to the payday
You are required to pay back the principal amount to the payday loan lenders who are licensed in your state. You are obligated to pay the principal amount including the interests and fees to the legal payday loan lenders. If you really think that you can't keep up with the payments, then you may go for payday loan debt consolidation. If you are sure that Advance Me Today is not legal in your state, then you can ask them to revert the extra money you have paid them.
Payday lending is legal in Missouri. You can contact with the Mi
Payday lending is legal in Missouri. You can contact with the Missouri Division of Finance to know whether or not payday loan companies from where you have taken the loan are licensed to operate in your state. If they are licensed, then you will have to pay the principal amount with interests and other fees. Otherwise you are required to pay only the principal amount. If you think that Advance Me Today is not licensed to operate in your state, then you can ask them to refund the excess amount that you have paid them. If your financial condition doesn???t permit you to repay your debt in full, then you can negotiate with your lenders. You may try to settle the debts on your own. If it is not possible for you to negotiate yourself, then you may get help from a reliable debt settlement company. The following link may help you in this regard:
