C&D letter for payday loan

what is this and im wondering if i should send it to the company that I keep getting calls from. Oh yeah that is if they would give me there address??
This is RE: to a payday loan from may 2007, Now trying to collect 722.00 for a $300 loan i believe i paid off from Sandpoint. They use the names of Kendrick and assoc. one time and then Joesph and assoc. another time, same case # and phone number. They are threatening fraud charges and lawsuit in my county?? can they do this?? Thanks for any help.

I wouldn't bother with a C&D. The next time they call, tell them you are aware they are illegal and a scam company and that you have reported them to your local police department. File a police report and give them the numbers these people are calling you from.
