Since you have already sent a letter to the company revoking the wage assignment they are by law not allowed to follow through, however we are talking about Illegal lenders. So on that note, make sure you give a copy to your employer as well, it may be embarrassing..but I covers you on both ends. I had a lender send one to my employer even after I revoked the assignment, but thankfully I work for a place that does not honor wage assignments. I would also give a copy of the letters revoking ACH to your bank as well.
Also if this is an illegal lender, they won't dare step foot in
Also if this is an illegal lender, they won't dare step foot in a court to try and sue you either.
Thanks
Well, I have closed out my bank account already. The payday loans are going to try and debit the closed accounts tomorrow. :S I am worried, but we will see what happens. Do you think that they would try to do the wage assignment tomorrow with it being the first day?

They won't attempt that early, it will take a couple of days before they will even get the returns back from trying to hit your account. Also, by law you are supposed to be notified of intent to assign wages before anything goes to your employer. They have 20 days from the date they notify you. But since you revoked them, they shouldn't be sending anything anyway.
Did you talk to your bank about why you closed the account, because I know some banks will automatically reopen the account when an ACH trys to hit within 30 days of closing the account.

Yes. I told him what was going on. The branch manager assured me that nobody at all could reopen that account. I called a few days later to make sure that they could not debit the account and he said no, and the only bank accounts that they show in the system was a completely separate account that was not affiliated with the internet payday loans and the only way they could access that account was to have the account number. We will just wait and see in the morning if this is true or not.

Please make sure you give a copy of the letter (email) you sent to these lenders which states you have revoked any wage assignments, they may give it a shot anyway, but if your employer is aware that you revoked it they will have to deny the wage assignment.

I talked with my HR lady about this. She said that she did not need that copy, and if there were to be a court order, by law she is required to honor this. What should I do? Do they dress them up to look like court orders or what??????

A court order means they have pay and send you a summons with a court date. then you got to court you either set up payment arrangements, in that case they get a judgement against you and your job can garnish your wages with our further notice if you default on payments.. internet pay day loans will not take you to court.
