Is anyone familiar with this company? I saw a thread in which some say it is a company in the UK. However, I spoke with them today and got an address in Salt Lake City from them, although no one I have spoken with there has a "Utah" accent. The phone number I have for them is 800-620-8790, the same as I saw listed in the thread that said they were in the UK.

Are they an illegal lender? I can't find them listed on the Utah DFI.

Oh wow so am trying to get the phone number for these KF 800, earlier today I spoke with them about lending me $200, yet nothing has been posted on my bank account, what do you guys mean by illegal? does it mean they can come and remove whatever money was spoken about and take it from my checking account? i'm freaking out now! wow! scary!

no they are illegal in the sense that if you close yourcurrent account and open a new one.they can call and threaten if you let them, but they can't do anything legally to you.that is what we mean.

Cancel the loan immediately.

They are not licensed to lend in many states. The possibility of them abiding by your state laws are very minimal. Based on many guests experiences with them, they are a poor business. This is why we suggest you do not do business with a company like this.

They are jack a$$es and I have tried to call them several times to get them to cancel my transaction after reading all of the bad things about them. They were very rude and said since I gave them all of my information they could not cancel the deposit into my checking account, which scares me because they simply would not help and now they have all of my information.

I took out a 200 loan this morning, The web site said I would be contacted, and the money would be in my account in one hour. So far no contact and no money in my account. Now what do I do?

They gave me a loan for 200. Last week they already debited my acct for 89. Know that I have researched and read the comments, am worried. Should I close my acct and when I open a new bank acct will they keep debiting from that new acct or just will they hound me over the phone again and again

What state are you in? If you open a new account there is no way they can obtain your new account information unless you give it to them, however, if you were to apply for another payday loan online with a different lender be aware that online payday lenders share information.

Once you get a loan they tell you to call 2-3 days before your payday to pay them back and when you call them the number is just a recording. They dont plan to talk to you. Its a scam. I had to get my bank to do a stop payment and wait for them to call me on the matter.

I received a call from this Officer Ben Davis who states that I had a payday loan with Kingston Financial and so on I have never had a Loan with this company any payday loan I ever had I paid in full. He wouldn't give me a number for them cursed at me and said they would settle for 501.00 or they would take me to court for a balance of 7,000 + this is a scam they pretty much wanted me to give them my bank info to pay a supposed loan. I have proof of any payday loans and they have all been paid in full with bank statements showing that.

And then I just got off the phone with my bank and they stated I had nothing with them from the time I opened my account in 2008. IF they call you they can get all sort of info off line. I have had payday loans and they have all been paid in full don't give them any information.
