I live in Ks . Is it true that paydaymax is illegal in the usa? We paid 247.00 for the 1st extension. The next week we paid 79.00 the 3rd week 79.00, now we pay 100.00 plus interest of 79.00 so that's 179.00 on the 4th week and 10.00 plus interest every week after until paid. How can I get out of this quickly? I have already paid 358.00 in interest and still owe the full amount of 830.00. Any suggestions?

Even if they were legal in KS they loaned you more than the maximum allowed making it an illegal loan.
