Okay ... do they really have any kind of legal rights...or are they just using scare tactics?
My daughter has got herself into a mess with one of these companies .. now they are saying they will take her to court for the money.
She was receiving SSI payments at the time of the payday loan ... now these SSI payments have been cut because she married.
What legal rights do store front payday loan companies have in KY?
Please help me...I'm new ...but I can see there are a lot of great people on here helping others...
Thanks!!!

Correction on Shazz's comment. If she is only receiving Soc Sec for income, it is judgment proof. Depending on the company, they may not sue as not all storefronts use the courts. I would still make arrangements to make payments, but most companies will not waste the money to file on a judgment proof account.
