:) Hey I am back to say that I worked with my bank and I did get my account closed...there was a misunderstanding and I just so happen to be friends with a VP at the bank(which absolutely killed me to have to admit to her that I made a huge mistake)...The bank not only closed my account but also did an ACH return on all payday loans that came out 2 weeks ago and refunded the money back into my account. Now I just need to know where to go from here...all advice and suggestions are greatly appreciated!!! The phone calls are beginning and letters are coming in the mail from Loan Point(Geneva Roth?) and Cash Call, and there will be more to come!
By signing up a debt counseling session, your provided details (Name, Email ID and Phone No.) will be forwarded to the company advertising on the DebtCC. However, you have no obligation to use their services.
Some creditors and collection agencies refuse to lower the payoff amount, interest rate, and fees owed by the consumer.
Creditors/collection agencies can make collection calls and file lawsuits against the consumers represented by the debt relief companies.
Debt relief services may have a negative impact on the consumer's creditworthiness and his overall debt amount may increase due to the accumulation of extra fees.
The amount which the consumer saves with the use of debt relief services can be regarded as taxable income.
