I had Lakota cash send a letter to my employer for a wage garnishment. My employer said they had to honor it because they were part of a native american tribe. I did some research and found that they do not have jurisdiction if I am not in the tribal area. On the contract it states that I will allow a wage garnishment, are they allowed to garnish wages without a court order even if i signed the contract "electronically". Is this a wage assignment being worded as a wage garnishment to get my employer to comply?

this person started the exact same topic last week.you ohiogal, and paulcahill answered it.i'm watching this thread closely.btw i have a looooong memory.the OP also cited an IL law that applies only to wage assignments that have an actual signature.that was on their original thread.i find it interesting that now it's a garnishment.again i will be watching this closely.
