Subject: langhorne and epayday loan
ok here is an update. the settlement with epayday was 400.00
i was told 350. whatever the case i have paid 350. now i am being told that i still owe 260.00 but erica is willing to accept 100.00 by friday. i am not paying no more than 50.00 i went through all of my emails and there was nothing mentioned that a specific date the money had to be paid by. also in all of my emails did langhorne starte "robin you need to have it in paid in full by this date or you will owe the full amount . having gone through this i have decide i would be better off cleaning up this mess MY SELF. ANY SUGGESTIONS AND/OR SUPPORT IS AND WILL BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. i know that when i tell them this they are really going to come down on me.

Yes, dump Langhorne and get on it yourself. You are not the only one who has had complaints regarding the way their account was handled this week. I considered them but didn't like the attitude, the way the accounts would be handled or what it was going to cost me in the long haul. I hope that you don't have a ton of money locked in with the Langhorne account. I am sure that their fees were taken pretty much upfront, as per contract agreement, and I am sorry for that. When I contacted them they told me that I would have to pay an additional $150-200 at least to settle the PDLs when I had already pretty much paid the principal on my own. That is exactly what turned me away from them to begin with. They also told me that they had PDL experience (as in being an employee of) and they could get the best deal to settle. I don't think so. I settled all of my PDLs for just what was deposited into my bank account and in 2 instances, less than. If you follow the advice of the good people on this board you can do this yourself. Questions. . . just ask for help. Good luck and keep us posted.

I had contacted Langhorne about my PDL's and was turned off by the consultant. He just didn't come across as professional and when he heard that most of my PDL's were storefront, he got agitated and told me that they couldn't help me with those.

Made me wonder why they would take the internet ones and not the storefronts. Hmmm...

thank you, i will, now that i think of it, if these people call themselve former employees of pd loan companies and see first hand what the pdl companies charge, then they are just as much as rip off artists bcuz of all the $$ they are charging for there services. no i replied back to langhorne and told them that i will be going on my own frm this point on..

Thank you Robin. I have been questioning their connections from day one. As desperately stated, they didn't seem very professional to me and just as rude as the PDL employees themselves. I too felt that if they knew the plight of victims of PDLs they would be more sympathetic to the situation as it was presented to them. I realize that a business is in business to make money but what they are charging is way above what I felt it should be for the attitude I was getting. In the end, it cost me nothing but my time. Go get em' and keep us posted.
