So when you file a complaint with the FTC regarding a PDL or Collection Agency please do not think that your complaint has fallen on deaf ears. It has not. The more complaints they get about a particular company the more likely they are to launch an investigation.

Wonderful news as I just sent them info regarding them violating a cease and desist sent to them over 1 month ago and they are still calling my contacts. I sent a letter to the FTC as well as the Ohio Attorney General as my letter stated to them I would do. I did get a general response and was told it was logged with that companies info and additional complaints would result in an investigation.

Thank you for posting this, I often wondered how it was handled, this is good information to know. It can be discouraging when a person doesn't receive anything but what appears to be a 'general' impersonal email, as a response.
