Okay, all over this site, we are told that the PDL lender must abide by the rules of the state that the borrower lives...where exactly is that info. What law is that? My AG Office was very unhelpful. One of the attorneys there said that the PDL lenders have done nothing wrong by making me keep renewing my loan and nothing pays down the principal, especially if the contract stated so. So what code, law, etc. states that the borrower's state is the law that must be followed for a PDl lender? She said that I must follow the law of the state that the PDl comapny is located/licensed. Please advise.

what state are you in again?there are a few that have that loophloe that if a pdl is licensed that the laws of that state prevail, but that number of states is dwindling.i see you are in mississippi.it states that a ipdl must be licensed in your state.a couple of questions.

who are the pdl's?
who told you this?

One of the attorneys from the Mississippi Ag Office told me. She has not benn been very friendly or helpful at all. The PDLs are with Emerald Marketing, Impact Cash, PayDay Max, and Integrity Advance. I also have one with A2B Cash.com, but it's almost impossible to make them fo anything.

i'm hard pressed to find a license for any of these.i would ask to speakto someone else at the AG'S office.not only does your state law prevail, but they are not licensed in your state.again speak to someone else at your AG'S office and let them know what this person told you.sometimes lawyers can ignorant of their own state laws.
