Hey thank you for the information. The link is directing me to pdl laws in the state of KY. Since this is an installment loan, I think that other laws apply. If anyone has any feedback on this I welcome it.

Hey Shazzers I am using the link you provided - thank you very much! Would you look under Think Cash or Ed Overcash? I thought if the original lender wasn't licensed to lend in KY as installment lender or otherwise, then probably Ed Overcash can't collect. Is my thinking in line?

Since Think Cash is backed by First Bank of Delaware, they don't have to be licensed in each individual state. Banks are exempt from that type of licensing. What you need to do is get validation of the debt from Overcash. If they can validate it, you're going to have to pay it.

I'm in the process of requesting that (verification of the debt). Is Overcash on the up and up typically? Are they a reputable law office?
