Just wondering if anyone else received a call from these people. I had 3 missed calls onto cell and then had a call at work, which I stupidly answered. It was a middle eastern man stating he was with Baker and McKenzie law firm. That there was a law suit pending against me and he wanted me to hold and speak with the attorney so he could explain it to me. At this point I hung up. Just wondering if anyone else is getting these calls?


They are scammers mate. Don’t fall in their trap. They are just trying to scare you. Don’t share any personal information with you. Just hang up on them, if they call you next time.

Baker & McKenzie is one of the largest law firms in the world. They represent multinational corporations. They don't do collections for illegal payday lenders.

Yep. I was a target for a few weeks. Called my cell and work. Once a law firm and once as an "officer." He called my job 5 times in one day. Annoying and it made all of my coworkers wonder what I had gotten myself in to. The man actually told me that he hopes I lose my job, if i do its my fault, and he will never stop calling.
