ace cash debt collectors

Ace called me yesterday saying I owed 536 dollars from 4 years ago. Said they were lawyers from the ucf company said that I had til this Friday to pay off 268 or they would send papers to my county for serving. I'm a student and can't afford that I tried making an arrdonangements for smaller payments then in August I'd pay in full. He said he was at the end of the rope. I said I may not be able to make that arrangement because there was no money he then began to insult me by saying maybe I should sell something I told him if I had something to sell I would've done it by now. He futher goes on to say how do I support myself I said I was living with a friend then went on to feed myself I'm on financial aid for school so that helps. He had the nerve to tell me if it were him he'd go without eating to pay this!! He then said this is a serious matter and that he wasn't a debt collector he was a lawyer and would have my papers served. Don't know what to say help anyone??!!
