how legally can i make them stop

been told to close bank account
they cant come after you since they are illlegal in florida

What other loans do you have? You should be able to determine if they are legal or not by looking at the Florida office of financial regulation website.

Florida law states that for a payday loan to be valid the lender must be licensed in the state. The law also states that there a no roll overs allowed and the max amount that you can borrow is $500 with a $10 fee per every one hundred and a $5 processing fee. To check if you any of your lenders are legal just go to the website for the Florida Office of Financial regulation and do a search for a license. From what you posted if they are doing roll overs then they are not licensed in the state and cannot do anything to you.

What you will want to do now is close your bank account, then send them all letters stating that you know they are illegal in the state, you can get a good example of the letter from the how to deal with illegal lenders section. Calculate how much you have paid each lender in fees and subtract that from the principle that they lent you and offer in your letters to pay back the remaining principle of if you have overpaid demand a refund. You will start getting calls about the loans just stick to your guns and always remember they have no power to use the FL courts to come after you.

Zip 19 is an illegal lender. You owe only principal. Don’t pay them any interest or fees. Close down your old bank account and open a new one. Don’t worry, they can’t do anything.
