I just received a call from a gentleman in NV stating that I owe $1230.00 in a payday loan from 2008. I would be charge with 3 charges if I did not respond, willful intent to defraud, theft, and larcery. I live in Texas. I asked for the information to be emailed to me. Is this a scam or is it even legal.

debts are civil matters,not criminal ones.especcially pdl's.a big scam report and ignore.do not respond as he just wants to harrass,and argue.a waste of your time.again report and ignore.
