Fraud question

My question is can you get fruad charges or any other charges brough against for non payment? If I don't pay the full contracted amount to these lenders is that considered the same as writing a bad check?

no they can't get you for writing a bad check,or anything else.some more questions

A couple of other questions....
Should I send the ACH revoke letters by email or by USPS?
Also, Its going to take awile to get my direct deposit switched to another account...already opened a new one...But I talked to my bank today she said theres nothing they can do with the account I have now expect to place stop payments on the transactions and if they try to take out another amount then it would have to go to the fraud dept and I would be out my money until they investigate....any suggestions?

Until you're able to get your direct deposit switched to your new account, you might want to put your old account on deposit-only status. (of course you'll have to let any companies, etc., who make "legit" withdrawals from your account (bills, etc) know about your new account information). And be sure to check w/ your bank about return fees (if any) for ACHs that can't get through on your old account. As so many illegal PDLs operate under various names, putting a stop payment on a specific ACH could be a bit risky; if they can't get their money under one name, they might try another.

make sure the account is closed first.if the pdl's get any hint at what your doing.they will clean you out.secure the account before sending the pdl's any letters.
