HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF A LENDER IS LICENSED IN MY STATE, CA. THEY ARE CALLING ME AT WORK AND HARASSING ME AND MY STAFF

First off no reason to use all caps - it is considered yelling..

To find out if a lender is licensed to lend your state you contact - Regulator - California Department of Corporations - http://www.corp.ca.gov/
Address - Financial Services Division, 1515 K Street, Suite 200 Sacramento CA 95814
Phone - (866) 275-2677

Who are the lenders?

Lenders, at least the legal ones, do not call and harass people at work. Makes me believe you are dealing with one of them loan sharks. Check with the CA DoC. They have an online license database.

What is the name of the pdl company? I think your lender is illegal in CA. In this case it would be better for you to pay back them only the borrowed amount. Close down your bank account asap. You can file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
