Pay Day Loans

Dear American Web Loan.

In response to your email, my contract with your company was invalid and unenforceable from the time I signed it. Having recently been made aware of the laws of my state of residence and the illegality of this loan, I will pay the remaining principal of this loan at my convenience if you will provide me with your mailing address to send you money orders. I reside in the state of PA and I am not subject to your tribal laws or courts. You are more than welcome to forward this account to a collection agency but note I will immediately dispute the legality of this loan and cease and desist the agency as is my right under the FDCPA.

First off when you are posting questions you should first register an account. There have been so many unregistered guests that it is very confusing who is who.

I am also a resident of PA. All the loans you have listed are illegal, in fact all payday loans are illegal in PA. First off contact the PA Department of Banking. They have been so much help to me and are very pro-active against pay day loans. The most recent compaints were against Cure Cash and Cash Jar.

State of PA has a Cease and Desist against United Cash loans.

I have received several PIF and refunds from some of the companies that I had loans with.

My Cash Now is being difficult but I am not giving up. They claim they are off shore, however a recent lawsuit that was filed 4 months ago in court lists the address as being in Nevada. I paid well over 3,000.00 in interest to them and I am determined to get my money back.

Don't give up. Make sure that you notify the PA Dept. of Banking, AG office and the FTC regarding your payday loans and follow the great advice that is available to you on this forum.
